In September 1974, a neighborhood organization began, and was soon named the Farmwood Women’s Auxiliary. The purpose of this group was:
The inaugural year (2005-2006) as Mint Hill Women's Club continued to promote activities that promote the vision of Service, Social, Self- improvement.
In our 40+ year history, over $100,000+ has been contributed back to the community.
Funds have been raised through group activities such as Card/Game Parties, Craft Auctions, Christmas Home Tours, Spring Garden Tours, Yard Sales, etc. Needless to say, the Club has been quite active and productive in our community!
- To promote civic involvement.
- To raise money to put back into the community.
- To share social and cultural interests with residents of the Farmwood community and Mint Hill.
